Chris and Leah’s Wedding

As more and more of my friends get hitched, I’m left behind watching this strange happiness that overcomes their lives. I’ve never really been in love, so the whole thing is profoundly surreal. And yet, as the grooms break down when they see their beautiful wives walking down the isle, and the family and friends are all together to share in the exchanging of the rings, I can’t help but break down too.

It’s this perfect union between man and woman. Something so profound and special. Something spiritual, and transcendent. I’m so proud of my friends for taking these bold steps towards true adulthood.

This weekend, I attended my third wedding of the year. I had my camera handy this time, and managed to catch some small glimpses of the happy couple. May God bless their future together.

Marc Williams

Some say I'm the most handsome man in the world (my mom), others tend to disagree, but one thing is certain - I love to entertain. Whether it be through music, writing, or film, seeing people respond with a smile is worth more than a bag of gold. Figuratively obviously, because smiles are free and gold is very expensive.
